Hazelnuts are the darÂling of the nut world (also known as filÂberts). Indulgent and decaÂdent, hazelÂnuts have an earthy, toasted flaÂvor with a sweet nutty aroma. We roast these nuts before blendÂing, which greatly help remove the husky skins, and release some of the natÂural oils.
In addiÂtion to the natÂural oily nuts, we furÂther boost this butÂter with the addiÂtion of a modÂerÂately intense extra virÂgin olive oil, adding pops of uncÂtuÂously fruity notes. A litÂtle cinÂnaÂmon and brown sugar are adding for a bit of sweetÂness.
